Comedian and author David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Prolific young adult author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, the company has said.
An official for the company commented: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding claims about conduct deemed unsuitable towards female individuals.
The firm did not confirm the reasons for its decision, adding: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Writing Journey
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.
Several of his works, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into small-screen adaptations.
To date, he has released more than 40 books in total, including a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
